Do I need to be an existing patient to book?
No. New patients are welcome. You can book online through HotDoc or call us on (02) 9654 0552.
Is there a female doctor at the practice?
Yes. Dr Elaheh Basiri, the practice's GP, is a female doctor. Appointments can be booked online through HotDoc or by calling (02) 9654 0552.
Do you have a Persian or Farsi speaking doctor?
Yes. Dr Basiri consults in Farsi (Persian) as well as English, and welcomes Persian-speaking patients from across Sydney.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Please bring your Medicare card, which is essential for bulk billing, plus photo ID and any current medications or referral letters. You can complete the new patient registration form before you arrive.
Will I be bulk billed?
Yes, standard consultations are bulk billed for Medicare card holders, including Saturday mornings. Fees apply for procedures, podiatry and cosmetic consultations.
How long will I wait?
Waiting times vary with the day. Booked patients are prioritised; walk-in patients are seen when a gap opens, which can take longer.
Can I get a same-day appointment?
Same-day appointments are not always available, but walk-in patients are accepted and seen as soon as practical.
Can I have a telephone consultation?
Yes, telephone consultations can be booked through HotDoc or by calling reception.
How do I get my test results?
Results are given in a consultation so your doctor can discuss what they mean with you. Our reminder system will contact you if a follow-up is needed.
How does a cosmetic consultation work?
Cosmetic care starts with a private consultation with the doctor, where suitability, options, risks and fees are discussed. There is never any obligation to proceed, and Medicare does not cover cosmetic procedures.
Is the practice wheelchair accessible?
Yes. The practice is wheelchair accessible, with ample free parking at Kenthurst Village Shopping Centre.
